.srt support for mp4/mov/ogg files

Description

with the new .srt code in svn perian supports subtitles if it perian opens the file, is it possible to also add subtitles for mp4/mov and other containers, where perian does not handle it?

would be fantastic to have srt support for h264 .mov files too.

.srt in 1.0 is specifically for mkv. This can be addressed in a later release
